Can I use a font in a mobile app’s user interface?

Under the App/Game License, you may use a font as part of an app or game’s user interface. You may not allow the font to be used by the End User to create or customize an End Product.

In how many apps may I use the font under the same App/Game License?

Under the App/Game License, you may create 1 title. A “title” is one (1) standalone application and excludes all other versions aside from a replacement version that contains only bug fixes. A sequel, prequel, or other new version of the app would be considered a different title and would require you to purchase another license.

Can I use the font in a sequel of my game app using the same App/Game License?

No; this would be considered a different title and would require a separate license. Under the App/Game License, you may create 1 title.

Can I make the same app compatible on different platforms (e.g. iOS, MacOS, Windows, Android, etc) under the same App /Game License?

Yes; this would be considered the same title, and you could use the same App/Game License for all versions of the app.

Can I use a font in an app in which the end users use the font to design their own content?

No, this is not permitted in App/Game Licenses. Any use that allows anyone other than the Licensee (such as an end user) to customize a digital or physical end product using the Licensed Asset is prohibited, whether for Commercial use or Non-commercial use. This includes, but is not limited to, “print on demand”, “made to order”, or “download on demand” applications. However, this is permitted in Server Licenses.

How many user can use my App/Game License font?

Under App/Game License, every font purchased is actually licensed to a App/Game title. You’ll always be required to define the total number of App/Game title will be using the font.

If you also need to install the font to complete design work, purchase both Desktop and App/Game License.

Can I use the WOFF or WOFF2 font included in my App/Game License font to use it on a Website?

No. The App/Game License prohibits all other non App/Game use, such as desktop, website, e-pub, end product for sale use. The App/Game License allows you to embedding the font on a App/Game.

If you also need to use the font to be embedded on your website, purchase both Webfont and App/Game License.

Can I embed the App/Game-licensed font in a website, too?

No; the App/Game License only allows you to embed the font in an App/Game. If you’d like to embed a font in your website’s code, please purchase a Webfont License

Can I use the TTF or OTF font included in my App/Game License font to design on a desktop?

No. The App/Game License prohibits all other non App/Game use, such as desktop, website,E-pub, end product for sale use. The App/Game License allows you to embedding the font on a App/Game.

Can I use a recently purchased font in an App I’m creating for mobile devices (iOS, Android, Windows)?

Yes; Under the App/Game License, this is permitted.

Can I convert a font I purchased from Aluyeah to use on my website as a Web Font?

No; Under the App/Game License, this is not permitted.

Can I use a recently purchased font in a video/program/commercial/movie for broadcast?

No; Under the App/Game License, this is not permitted.

Can I print a recently purchased font on a product or on product packaging for over 250k items?

No; Under the App/Game License, this is not permitted.

Can I use a App/Game License font to design paid ads?

No; Under the App/Game License, this is not permitted.

Can I use a App/Game License font to design static image for my App/Game promotion?

No; under App/Game License, this is not permitted. If you also need to install the font to complete design work, purchase both a Desktop and App/Game License.

Can I use a font in a design-on-demand app that my customers use to make their own printable cards, invitations, etc?

No; under the App/Game License, this is not permitted. Please purchase Server or Corporate License for this situation. 

Can I use a licensed font for all of my internal company presentations?

No, under App/Game License this is not permitted. If you also need to install the font to complete design work, purchase both a Desktop and App/Game License.

Can I use a App/Game License font to design my App/Game ads, product package of my App/Game, and print it?
